Kentucky SHRM (KYSHRM) is the state affiliate for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). We serve over 3,500 human resource professionals and advance the HR profession in Kentucky. 

On the national level, SHRM is the world’s largest professional association devoted to human resource management. SHRM represents more than 250,000 individual members in over 120 countries, and has a network of more than 575 affiliated chapters in the United States.  SHRM is the globally recognized authority whose voice is heard on the most pressing people management issues of the day – now and in the future 

On the state level, the Kentucky SHRM State Council is comprised of over 30 leaders who volunteer their time to serve the HR professional and advance the HR profession in Kentucky.  Kentucky SHRM is involved in many important initiatives on a daily basis. Our volunteers contribute their time, energy and expertise to educate, advocate and lead HR. And those contributions directly impact  the bottom-line and success of Kentucky’s employers.
